Mr. John Onose, a former Councillor in Sapele Local Government Area has been arrested by the police for allegedly sexually assaulting a seven-year-old girl.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon after the ex-council lawmaker lured the kid to a nearby bush around Fovie Street before forcefully sleeping with her.
The assault on the girl was noticed the next day when the mother,on closer inspection ,saw that her daughter was bleeding from her vagina and anus.
When asked who assaulted her,she pointed the man out to her mother. Before then,the mum on discovering the blood,screamed out for help and this may have made the culprit,who is 54 and a father of four,to come out too.
Investigation is ongoing by the Police.
